Jonathan Schneider


Jonathan Schneider co-founded Sognáre Partners in 2015, along with Ross Ethridge. Sognáre Partners is a full service commercial real estate brokerage and investment firm, focused on select regional investments. Prior to Co-Founding Sognáre Partners, Jonathan and Ross headed the Private Client group in Denver, Colorado for Avison Young.

Jonathan brings years of experience working on commercial acquisitions and dispositions, managing development projects and analyzing investment opportunities. While he has represented many tenants in the market, Jonathan focuses on working with investors (both local and national), developers and owners of commercial real estate in and around the greater Denver metro area and surrounding states. Over the past seven years he has developed an expertise in distressed asset investments and has been sought out by lenders, receivers and attorneys to help market these notes and properties. With an established network of trusted professionals, he is uniquely positioned to identify and track off-market and distressed investment opportunities, bringing these opportunities to his clients.

Jonathan joined Avison Young in 2013 and quickly moved to the Private Client Group in 2014. Prior to joining Avison Young, he served as the Director of Project Management at a local commercial real estate firm focused on tenant representation.  Jonathan began his career in commercial real estate working with a privately held real estate development firm, Perry Rose, the Denver partner of the New York based Jonathan Rose Companies (JRCo).  During his tenure with JRCo, he served as Project Manager working on several significant development projects within the region.  Notably, Highlands Garden Village, the EPA award-winning mixed-use in-fill development that helped transform the now desirable Highlands neighborhood in Denver.  Prior to JRCo, Jonathan worked in architecture while pursuing a master’s degree in architecture from the Boston Architectural Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

Jonathan has lived in Illinois, Massachusetts and New York but has called Colorado home for the past 13 years. He and his wife enjoy traveling and exploring the amazing Rocky Mountain backcountry.

Ross Ethridge


Ross Ethridge co-founded Sognáre Partners in 2015, along with Jonathan Schneider. Sognáre Partners is a full-service commercial real estate brokerage and investment firm, focused on select regional investments. Prior to co-founding Sognáre Partners, Ross and Jonathan headed the Private Client group in Denver, Colorado, for Avison Young. They’ve been fortunate enough to have curated or consulted on nearly $100,000,000 in real estate transactions since 2015. Through a litany of strategic relationships and an immense passion for procuring off-market deals, Ross is able to stay in front of the trends that are not only affecting Denver but also the entire western region.

Ross began his career in commercial real estate at ARES, a full-service developer of LEED-certified structures. During his tenure with the firm, he assisted the development team with business development, site procurement and due diligence, development strategy, and lease negotiations.

Throughout his real estate career, Ross has been fortunate enough to work on major development projects in the Downtown Denver, Cherry Creek, Commerce City, RiNo, and South Broadway markets in Colorado.

Ross graduated from the University of Mississippi in December of 2009 where he received multiple degrees in Real Estate and Managerial Finance respectively.

Matthew Vandal


Matthew Vandal is an Associate Director at Sognare Partners, and has actively been involved in commercial real estate since 2008. His work has included acquisitions and dispositions, asset management, portfolio valuations for major public and private institutions, financial analyses, market and feasibility studies and other advisory services.  As part of his role at Sognare Partners, he is active in the sourcing of off-market opportunities, dispositions, and leasing for select clients.

Prior to joining Sognare Partners, Matthew worked as an Associate Director at NexGen Properties based in Greenwood Village, Colorado. While at NexGen he was responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence and financial analysis for prospective acquisitions and development projects. He actively participated in the acquisition and disposition of assets valued in excess of $25 million throughout Colorado and Minnesota. He was additionally responsible for asset management within the $60 million portfolio.

Matthew also worked at Integra Realty Resources in Denver as a Senior Analyst Appraiser. His time at the company provided a broad range of experience in valuation and analysis of commercial real estate including retail, industrial, office, mixed-use projects, multi-family property, and development land.  His expertise was focused in the valuation of super-regional malls having valued numerous properties with individual values ranging from $100 million to over $2 billion in value for clients such as Simon Property Group, General Growth Properties, and Macerich.

Matthew graduated from the University of Denver in June of 2008 where he received a degree in Real Estate and Finance. In addition to being a licensed broker, he is a licensed Certified General Appraiser as well as a LEED AP for Building Design + Construction. He is a Denver native who enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two dogs.

Tyler Wyckoff


Tyler C. Wyckoff joined Sognare Partners in 2017 to provide expertise and counsel regarding large scale multi-phased acquisition projects throughout the Western United States. He has been involved in the assessment, negotiation and procurement of property since graduating with his Master’s in Real Estate & Construction Management from the University of Denver in 2011. Tyler brings extensive knowledge of land rights and entitlements through his contractual work for numerous publicly and privately held Oil and Gas Exploration and Production companies.

Recently, Tyler’s focus has been in the Rocky Mountain region encompassing Colorado, Utah and Wyoming with previous field experiences in North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois and West Texas. He has a comprehensive understanding of land and mineral rights having worked on a variety of projects ranging from small wildcats to large-scale operations involving over 100,000 acres in the area of focus. His expertise includes negotiating the purchase of mineral rights, Oil and Gas Leases, Surface Use Agreements, Easements and Right-of-Ways as well as patent to present title abstracts and full Mineral Ownership Reports.

Originally, Tyler decided to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and pursue a career in the energy industry. However, his passion for real estate allowed him to collaborate with Sognare Partners on several fronts which, ultimately, led him to join the team full-time.

Tyler was born and raised in Olympia, WA and received his BA with a concentration in Finance from Gonzaga University in 2008. Graduate school brought him to Denver and it has been home ever since. Lover of sports and all things outdoor – except when it’s raining.
